The latest H3 Forum took place at Offerton Community Centre last week and saw over 30 temporary accommodation residents attend.
The Forum focused on financial changes to benefits and support payments, especially looking at the changes from Disabled Living Allowance to Personal Independent Payments, Job Seekers Allowance to Universal Credit, and new Housing Benefit caps.
The Q&A session brought out many issues and concerns that residents had over these changes and the discussion provided a fantastic opportunity to voice these and have them addressed by the Money Advice team. 1-1 advice was also available throughout lunch for people with specific concerns.
